Detroit, MI., August 12, 2008 - Fred Brito, one of the nation’s world-class motivational speakers, will team up with Ron Culver of the Michigan Motivational Task Force to provide a powerful, no-cost seminar in Detroit, Michigan. This is an exciting, ground-breaking motivational seminar, giving voice to the plight of jobless citizens, single mothers, homeless, ex-offenders and other disenfranchised Americans who are seeking to rebuild their lives after falling through the cracks of society. It is geared toward empowering people who need help rebuilding their lives after years of struggling to find steady employment and security; and it will be delivered by one of the foremost voices on the speaking circuit, Fred Brito. Fred’s aim, as well as that of the Michigan Motivational Task Force, is to not only inspire, but to actively place the people of Michigan in secure positions of employment.  It is estimated that over 100,000 citizens in the Motor City alone will suffer significant job cutbacks and the loss of financial opportunity in coming months.

The seminar is just the beginning; following the event, the Michigan Motivational Task Force will continue to work with each individual until they secure a well-paying job & have the necessary tools to become successful in today’s declining job market.  “The goal”, says Brito, “is to not only find solid work for these good people, but to teach them to become self-sufficient success stories in difficult times.”

Fred Brito, a rehabilitated ex-offender himself, has been featured on Dateline, Dr. Phil, and is slated to appear soon on Oprah and 60 Minutes.  He speaks from the heart when he teaches about lifting oneself from a position of despair and turning your life around. Whereas at his lowest point he was homeless and living on the streets of Los Angeles; he is now a well-tuned, empowered voice on the seminar circuit. As part of his success story as well as his self-designed rehabilitation, Brito delivers dynamic lectures on how to break down self- & society-imposed barriers and get past the “slammed door”.  He is eager to share his personal story and technique for building self-confidence, success, and happiness.  Says Brito, “This is my mission and my new life’s passion.  Ignoring my past would be to deny the incredible distance I’ve come.  I want to pass along to others the precious gift of a second chance.”

Brito is the President of The Fred Brito Company, LLC in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
